· Vocational training and/or community college degree or equivalent experience. Experience: · One to three years of industrial manufacturing experience in relevant areas (machine operations and material handling) · Experience in textile sheet material cutting and lamination processes preferred Skills: · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work in a team environment of rapidly changing priorities.
· Good reasoning, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. · Good analytical skills (basic mathematics). · Basic MS office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
· Basic input and keystroke execution of ERP system. · Strong attention to detail Main responsibilities: Perform work to specified standards of performance and established methods. Use (ERP) software tools Use SPC tools and techniques. Comply with all safety, work, and QMS rules, policies, procedures, and instructions. Participate in process/continuous improvement, problem solving, troubleshooting and training activities as well as other meeting as directed by supervisor. Assist in other functional areas as directed.
Report any safety issues to supervisor immediately. Report quality problems to supervisor immediately Willfully provide improvement ideas to supervisor Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: · Must be able to visually inspect material(s) for determined defects.
· Standing or sitting as needed to perform duties. · Ability to occasionally move about to access equipment, cabinets, or storage bins. · Use hands/fingers to inspect parts, use gages and operate computer and printer. · May occasionally climb stairs or ladder to retrieve parts from upper shelves. · Must be able to stoop, kneel or crouch to retrieve parts from storage bins. · Repetitive motion such and twisting/turning to properly bag and stage parts for shipping or storage.
· Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds unassisted. · Wearing full Tyvek suits, face respirator, dust mask and ear protection as needed · Ability to be forklift certified and use sit down forklift as needed daily.
