and perennial flowers and fall bulbs, water, fertilize, dead-head and perform other duties for maintaining annual and perennial flower beds. Assist with maintaining plantings in the greenhouse including watering, weeding, and cleaning. Maintain ornamental shrub plantings and beds.
Perform light pruning and trimming, assist with new plantings, clean, and weed beds, water, fertilize, apply mulch. Operate cultivation equipment for preparing landscape areas for plantings. Operate utility vehicles and other small equipment including hedge trimmers, hand and backpack blowers, rototillers, and sprayers. Prune trees and shrubs utilizing proper trimming and pruning principles. Assist with various
landscape projects including irrigation and drainage, applying soil amendments, tree staking and wildlife protection. Water flowerpots and beds by hand with a hose and breaker or sprinkler, or with water cart Weeding Flower beds and Perennial Beds Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
Deliver " I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points. Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Plant identification. Pruning Roses Use of hand tools including rakes, brooms, shovels, sod knifes etc. Power
washing hardscape areas. Work in departmental greenhouse. Perform any other such duties, as assigned.
