product items to stocking production from the receiving line in a timely and efficient manner. Essential Functions: Responsible for learning and practicing safe and proper equipment operations including Fork lifts, pallet jacks and racking systems. Follow company policies and follow safety guidelines.
Advise Supervisor of needs, product shortages, problems or concerns. Responsible to assist in all loading/unloading of palletized products and containers. Maintain correct product inventories through use of the warehouse location maintenance system and log book. Assist with monthly physical inventory process/cycle counts and supplying stock to production and shipping areas as need in FIFO
(First In First Out) order. Communicate accidents and/or injuries immediately. Execute all actions in conjunction with company safety guidelines. Complete forklift daily checklist and communicate any maintenance needs to supervisor.
Successfully complete Mc Glynn Forklift training program and 90-day/720-hour evaluation. Report any food safety concerns to Supervisor for resolution, including a food package that is open to the food for any reason. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications (Education/Experience): Good communication skills and able to follow direction accurately. Knowledge of all forklift operation responsibilities. Ability to work flexible schedule
with occasional overtime and weekend hours. Ability to work with all disciplines; interpersonal communication skills.
Comfortability with heights. Excellent problem solving and decision making skills. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment. 1 to 2 years of experience in a high traffic atmosphere. 1 to 2 years of experience on a stand up Forklift.
