First shift hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 a. m. - 4:30 p. m. Second shift hours would be Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p. m. - 2:30 a. m. Workers enjoy 2 paid 15-minute breaks along with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Workers are allowed to leave the premises during their lunch times to enjoy their free time. Fridays are saved for overtime and worked as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be able to perform repeated
hand techniques, which include laying material while machine is in an operating mode and repeatedly packing material into boxes in a sufficient manner. Work in a safe manner, with a continuous understanding and following of the safety rules that are in place and correlate with the department and warehouse standards.
Be able to recognize and differentiate between good and/or bad product, while maintaining a constant supervision over the product. Be able to maintain a clean work environment. Be willing to cross train in other departments as needed. Show an initiative to learn and grow. Maintain a positive work environment by communicating and acting in a professional manner. Be able to
troubleshoot and problem solve basic mechanical issues and/or product issues.

The molding process involves several different steps, such as: Operating the sand mixer to fill the pattern box with sand Operating a hand drill to drill holes in the sand mold Painting molds with a refractory coating Assembling and positioning cores in the mold Joining both halves of the mold to complete the assembly process Qualifications and Skills Enjoys hands-on work Basic math & reading skills Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Works safely and observes all safety procedures Work Environment: The employee regularly work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.

Summary: Inspects castings for dimensional and visual compliance to both internal and customer requirements, may audits processes by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Examines casting for imperfections per Work Instructions provided. Operates UT equipment
for dimensional inspection purposes. Wet or dry magnaflux all castings per Work Instructions provided. Gauges castings for machining and as-cast purposes, and ensures there is enough machining stock or that finished machined castings conform to all specifications.
Stamps and sells off only castings which meet or exceed specifications to either the next step in the process or to the customer. Works with production to ensure castings and/or processes meet requirements. Follows workload priorities as prescribed by production personnel. May be asked to perform measurement studies and to collect and/or compile data. Is in compliance with the company safety policy and practices at all times.
Wears his/her PPE at all times.
