We are looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist with 1-2+ years of manual and CNC programming/machining experience to set-up, and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools to produce machined components.
Duties and responsibilities Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, shapers, or grinders. CNC and manual Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations Align and secure
holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition Organize machine programs Responsible for managing tooling needs Have all pieces verified by quality (in the event that quality is not available, use the " buddy system" to ensure quality of pieces) Ensure all parts are labeled and have job travelers with correct parts and record count for those parts Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine
