and generally works 7AM-4PM, Monday-Friday (end times may vary based on business needs). The Shipping/Receiving Clerk works on average a 40+ hour work week and supports the seasonal operation. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for safely loading/offloading inbound/outbound freight from semi-trailers and route trucks. Your contributions will provide immediate
results as you ensure customers' orders are picked/packed and shipped on schedule and in accordance with Clarke's on time shipping metrics. Lastly, you have excellent attention to detail and safety as you deliver inbound products, supplies, and raw materials to correct entities, production line, or storage locations.
When you are not operating a forklift or performing other shipping/receiving duties, you are maintaining inventory for inbound material/supplies, keeping the warehouse clean, and always following safe work practices and procedures.
