is responsible for all personnel functions pertaining to their direct reports. They spend nearly all of their time in the warehouse production areas. Additionally, the Production Supervisor may be required to perform manual tasks such as operating warehouse equipment or handling Hazardous Waste materials.
Primary Accountabilities: Operational (70%) Supervise associates in a production department of the facility Approve all associate time worked and performance reviews Shift priorities to adjust to changing business demands Project staffing needs and participate in the interview and selection process Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures in the facility Ensure facility
compliance to Federal and State regulations Monitor, report, and work to prevent losses in the facility Provide daily, weekly, and monthly statistics and operations updates Maintain a thorough knowledge of all SOP’s pertaining to facility and operations Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping/processing activities to ensure order accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments Able to adequately perform and document periodic regulatory inspections of the facility, including but not limited to, sanitation inspections and hazardous waste storage area inspections Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures Promote constant and measurable

Department opportunities Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field 1-2 years of experience in a lead or supervisor role preferably in a fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are advantageous in the role Working knowledge of computers and programs specific to operations and operations reporting including MS Office (Excel, MS Word) Knowledge of warehouse safety and security practices Physically able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Ability to operate and troubleshoot department equipment, i.
e. material handling equipment; such as the forklift and pallet jack Ability to package, label, load/unload Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste, sign Hazardous Waste manifests, and serve the facility as an Emergency Coordinator Ability to perform the functions of a hazardous waste generator, including but not limited to, identification, sorting, packaging, segregating, labeling hazardous waste generated from daily operational activities Individual Competencies: Integrity: Gains the trust of others by taking responsibility for own actions and telling the truth.

Job Duties: Complete scheduled production on time and at or below standard cost. Ability to detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Ensure the work area and equipment are kept in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion.
Must be able to perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines required per the P. M. documentation. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions, including proper start-up and shut down procedures. Must be able to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance about machine set up, change over, and wash down. Must be able to interact with Maintenance, quality, distribution, and management to accomplish
corporate goals. Must be able to successfully mediate small disagreements on the line. Must be able to complete timely machine washdowns, line changeovers, and set-ups.
Must be able to train new team members on the line. Must be able to follow product structure and special instructions to produce quality products. Must be able to run the line effectively while insuring minimal scrap and defects. Production Line Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of production line or related experience. Must have a good command of the English language (Written Verbal) Must have a good command of the Spanish language (Verbal) Must be able to interpret palletization reports. Must have good basic math skills.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to stand from 8 - 10 hours per day.
