Job Overview: The Trust and Estate Associate Attorney will be crucial in providing legal counsel to clients in matters related to wealth management, estate planning, and business succession. The individual will work closely with clients to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with their financial goals and objectives. Duties: Conduct legal research and analysis about trust and estate laws. Draft
and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments. Advise clients on tax implications and strategies for wealth preservation.
Assist in administrating estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop and implement business succession plans. Handle complex legal matters related to charitable giving and philanthropy. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to the Bar in the state of New York.4-6 years of experience in trust and estate law. Strong understanding of high net-worth tax planning and estate administration.
