Duties: Manage caseload from file inception to completion of bankruptcy cases. Evaluate files after the initial setup of referrals by the paralegal to determine the best course of action. Review all pleadings and claims filed in specific cases. Respond to objections and motions involving clients' rights. Attend scheduled bankruptcy hearings. Respond to general firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries. Conduct initial reviews
of cases to determine the best course of action. Review all filings on behalf of clients. Monitor all electronic filings (ECFs). Regularly attend bankruptcy hearings.
Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and trustees. Requirements: Law degree - JD. Barred in California. Advanced knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and relevant local rules within the various districts of California. Knowledge of general Creditors' Rights law and relevant state laws. Experience representing creditors in bankruptcy cases. Skills: Advanced knowledge of bankruptcy rules and laws.
