outline the responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements for this position: Job Overview: The DSSP Product Counseling Attorney will be responsible for providing legal guidance on privacy program management and product counseling. The role requires expertise in U.

S. and global privacy laws, risk backssment, compliance strategies, and the ability to lead training initiatives for junior associates. Duties: Conduct legal backssments to evaluate clients' exposure and formulate compliance strategies for various privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, and EU General Data Protection

Regulation. Develop and implement work plans to bring clients into compliance with new and evolving privacy laws. Perform processing risk backssments and collaborate with clients to document data flows and related requirements.

Provide legal counsel to clients in the telecommunications industry, addressing industry-specific privacy challenges and requirements. Develop and lead training programs for junior associates to enhance their understanding of privacy laws and best practices. Requirements:7-10 years of legal experience, with a strong preference for in-house experience as either a full-time employee or secondee. Admission to the Colorado Bar. Deep familiarity with key U. S. and global

privacy laws, focusing on the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, and EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Proven experience in backssing legal exposure and designing work plans for privacy law compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams. Telecommunications industry experience is preferred. Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: CIPP/US certification is preferred. Skills: Strong legal research and analytical skills. Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
