Duties: Conduct legal research and analysis to provide effective counsel on civil defense matters. Act as 1st chair in trials, demonstrating a high level of courtroom expertise and persuasive advocacy. Manage cases throughout the entire litigation process, from inception through resolution. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Conduct depositions and
mediations to gather and evaluate evidence. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of civil defense litigation experience.
Proven experience as 1st chair in trials. Ability to manage cases independently, demonstrating a strong sense of initiative. Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills. Previous deposition and mediation experience. Familiarity with insurance defense, product liability, and/or mass tort cases. Education: Juris Doctor (J. D. ) from an accredited law school. Certifications: California Bar license in good standing. Skills: Strong legal research and analytical skills. Persuasive courtroom advocacy. Case management and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills. Familiarity with relevant legal software and tools.
