POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Director of Psychiatry and Street Medicine, the Psychiatric Nurse performs nursing backssments, co-facilitates groups, provides care coordination, and assists with telemedicine for patients with mental and addictive disorders within an integrated care setting.
Participates in health fairs or community events on weekends as requested 3-4 times a year. Will need to be flexible for coverage on Street Medicine or in other clinical areas on occasion. Must be available
full time from 8:30-5pm every weekday. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Familiarity and experience in treating medically underserved populations. Must have experience working with people with both mental and addictive disorders.
Experience working with with patients of diverse backgrounds within a multi-disciplinary setting is preferred. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Clinical expertise and competence in providing psychiatric nursing services in an outpatient setting. Must be able to build strong, cohesive, outcomes-focused working relationships with special needs populations and the integrated team colleagues. Familiarity with administration of Long Acting Injectables (LAIS), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
