Job Overview: The Trademark and Unfair Competition Litigation Attorney will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support in all aspects of trademark and copyright litigation.
This role involves claim evaluation, drafting demand letters and responses, TTAB filings, complex brief writing, extensive document discovery, 1st/2nd chair deposition experience, and negotiating and drafting settlement and coexistence agreements. Duties: Evaluate and analyze claims related to trademark and copyright litigation.
Draft demand letters and responses in accordance with legal strategies. File cases before the TTAB and manage proceedings effectively. Engage in complex brief writing for litigation cases.
Oversee heavy document discovery and manage relevant information. Act as 1st/2nd chair during depositions, representing the firm professionally. Draft settlement and coexistence agreements to resolve legal disputes. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in the State of Minnesota.3+ years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation. Proven experience in handling cases before the TTAB. Strong understanding of claim evaluation and legal strategies.
Demonstrated ability in drafting demand letters, responses, and settlement agreements.
Experience with complex brief writing and document discovery. Confidence in acting as 1st/2nd chair during depositions. Certifications: Admission to the Bar in the State of Minnesota.
