Job Duties: Accurate and timely in carrying out specific verbal or written orders (possibly
in the form of protocols or standing orders) generated and signed by a physician. Competently backsses and counsels patients. Administers medication and treatment and performs procedures, as prescribed by a physician.
Efficiently schedules patient procedures. Correctly and appropriately relays test preparation instructions, hospital registration requirements, and physician instructions to patients in a timely manner. Thoroughly educates and explains procedures and treatment plan to patients and caregivers. Completely assists providers to maximize patient volume. Returns patient calls in a timely manner. Documents patient care accurately and timely. Performs EMR tasks correctly and timely.
Works and communicates effectively with all providers. Coordinates and assists in the delivery of a plan of health care with all care team members.
Promotes teamwork. Provides great customer service in person and on the telephone. Follows all regulatory and patient safety clinical standards. Demonstrates professionalism by articulating and demonstrating professional behavior, accepting responsibility and accountability for actions, adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership and supporting Meritas initiatives. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing Current Missouri Registered Nurse license Minimum of two years recent experience in a physician's office setting, preferably in clinic specialty.
