as a liaison between the department and the public, applicants, employees and other stakeholders associated with the organization by providing ongoing current and accurate human resources business information and assistance. the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other related mandates. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.
g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions. )Assist with analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;
performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Provides administrative and technical development support to the in-house employee training and performance management programs. Assists with the recruitment and hiring process, including position development, recruitment strategy, interview and hiring procedures, and pre- and post-employment screenings and follow-up. Assists with all aspects of safety and workers compensation administration. Assists with wellness program administration. General internet knowledge as it relates to web-based programs, and demonstrated knowledge and skills in operation of HRIS system. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: PHR or SPHR or similar certification preferred. Possession of a current valid Driver's License or has access to a regular source of transportation.
