implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care. Minimum Required: RN License required. Two (2) years nursing experience required. Two (2) years ICU experience required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire, ACLS within six (6) months of hire. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred. Previous experience working in Critical Care preferred. Previous experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy preferred.
