Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Must complete
all education assigned and required for the position, including classroom and on-line courses. Performs other duties as assigned. Must work effectively as a team-member.
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for a medical/surgical unit. Reports to: Director, Surgery/OR Minimum Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline - RN Required Licenses: Tennessee Licensed RN or compact state license.
