May be required to
complete periodic mandatory education as established by the Education Director and the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing. Promotes positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates effective communication skills.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and hospital information. Practices according to professional and ethical standards and enforces the same. Demonstrates an understanding of and functions as a professional nurse in accordance with Colorado State Nurse Practice Act. Provides care to patients in Medical/Surgical floor. COVID vaccine will be offered to those who have not been vaccinated. ¾ Results of criminal background check including OIG (within the last 30 days). ¾ Copy of negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the last 30 days). ¾ CAPS check through the State of Colorado (if required for unit). ¾ Influenza shot is required by the State of Colorado no exceptions during influenza season. Influenza season is Sept 1st (depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to March 31st of the following year, or as otherwise defined by the Department of Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team.
