Overview: The Senior Advice and Counsel Associate Attorney will be crucial in conducting audits, drafting and revising documents, and providing expert guidance on complex employment law issues. The position requires a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, active admission to the CA State Bar, and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Job Details: Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures. Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans. Draft and revise policies, handbooks, and other employee communication documents for clarity. Explain complex employment law issues in a way understandable to a
diverse audience. Identify problem-solving options, outlining pros and cons for clients to make informed decisions. Requirements: JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law (a plus). Understanding current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques (a plus). Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience conducting training or workplace investigations preferred. Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited
