managing a caseload, providing legal counsel, and collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. Duties: Report to the managing criminal defense attorney and collaborate with the criminal defense team Manage a caseload, ensuring timely and effective handling of cases Advise clients on legal rights and draw up legal documents related to their cases Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide guidance on best legal strategies Handle court appearances, and trials, draft motions, interview witnesses, and conduct legal research Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents Manage workload efficiently, prioritizing and organizing cases Provide legal
analysis to clients, backssing potential case benefits Accrue additional evidence to support clients' cases or argue against prosecution charges Prepare clients for depositions, determine case strategy goals, and gather information from witnesses and experts supporting client positions Requirements: At least 2-5 years of criminal defense experience Experience in handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, assisting and strategizing with fellow associates Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active license to practice law in California
