Job Profile Summary: Under the direction of a radiologist, performs special procedures at a technical level requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for special procedures.
Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required. Major Responsibilities: Positioning and immobilization of patient to ensure anatomy or blood vessels being examined are in the correct profile and projection. Independent selection of technical factors to ensure high quality
images with the lowest possible dose to the patient. Participates in and assists in complex interventional procedures such as de-clotting of blood vessels, UFE, Venous ablations other peripheral vascular procedures.
