and exiting club property. Verify all incoming traffic, alerting staff of deliveries, guests for dinner, and directing guest and vendors where to park. Properly authenticating members and employees who enter onto property. Documenting guests in the guest log.
Patrols property checking for suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards. Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to clubhouse manager or general manger for correction of follow-up actions. Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce club rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions. Assists any persons on property needing directions or club information. Responds to alarms
and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations. Knows club's emergency response manual, security's role and procedures for all emergency situations as documented.
Submit daily incident report at end of each shift. Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager/Supervisor. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart Comply and knows all safety policies of the Club as well as federal laws pertaining to OSHA, and EPA regulations. Attends staff meetings when required Education/Experience: High school education; Two year related
experience or training in police, military or security field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Required: to read a limited number or two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills: May be required: to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Reasoning Ability: Required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out and give instructions; to deal with standardized and emergency situations with only occasional or no variables. Physical Demands: Frequently stands and walks; uses hands to finger, feel or handle; reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, sits, talks or hears. Regularly lifts or carries up to 50 pounds. Able to climb ladders and work on roof tops. Vision Requirements: Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus. Environment/Noise: Frequently works in wet and humid conditions. Frequently required to work in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: Must be at least 18 years of age. Certification/License in Security at Level II, Level III preferred but not required.
