As a Police Officer Trainee, you will be paid full salary while receiving comprehensive training through an Accredited Police Academy. Upon completion of the recruit training, you will be responsible for protective services work as well as

the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes. This work may involve personal risk and requires sound, independent judgment in all situations. All uniforms and equipment are provided by the department.

In addition, you will be issued a take home patrol car. The city provides numerous employee benefits as well as a 401a retirement plan. Minimum Requirements at the time of application: U. S.
