A day in the life. As an Account Specialist within our Business Insurance Property & Casualty
Group, you will be an integral team member who supports the Client Services and Sales teams with high quality work product to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
You will learn the insurance industry from the ground up, handling key responsibilities such as data gathering and management, soliciting quotes from carrier partners, issuing certificates of insurance, assisting with the renewal process and engaging in various client facing interactions. All Account Specialists can expect ongoing professional development opportunities that include On-The-Job Training with both management and team members, mentorship, career pathing and Tuition Assistance. You will also participate
in ongoing L&D opportunities through our numerous MMA University Learning Series courses.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these attributes: Very effective oral and written communication skills as well as relationship building skills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point Exceptional time management and organization skills Active insurance license or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of employment The following are preferred but not a requirement to apply: A relevant internship opportunity within the Insurance Industry (preferably with some exposure to Property and Casualty) A degree in Risk Management, Business or other related program Demonstrated experience in Customer Service We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
