Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results across two of our DC Metro Clinics (Ashburn and Vienna). This is a contracted, part-time role with 10 hours expected at both clinics per week.
Collaborate with therapists, and other program staff to discuss treatment plans and the progress of clients. backss and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, admitting diagnosis, psychiatric backssments, client interviews, medical histories, and observations. Document client records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments.
Provide expert opinion to insurance claim adjusters. Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of our adolescent clients. A degree from an accredited nursing school.
