Talent in the role will take the lead in establishing consistent process and procedures for onboarding new employees in the Account Specialist roles. This includes Launch and Apprentice colleagues. The position is hybrid in one of our offices located in our western region. There is up to 25 percent US domestic travel to our offices for this role. Aon is in the business of better decisions. What the day will look like Collaborate directly with the managers in each office in region as well as the Broking leadership to build the above stated goals. At inception begin working with the general industry personnel as well as construction, with the intent to move into the specialty areas. The proof of concept validates the improved platform of service and capability while increasing capacity. This position will report to the Regional COO with
ultimate accountability to support the Regional Leader's objectives of growing revenue, margin expansion and colleague engagement.
Collaborate with peers and key partners to define consistent service models for routine account service activities while building out the key tasks as identified by the working group and the pilot offices. Ensure implementation of the service model across the region, including Delivering Aon United (DAU) efforts. Help managers in the recruitment and leadership of Account Specialists. Provide team leadership and oversight for all Account Specialists in region. Monitor client satisfaction of team's performance (both internal and external clients).
Function as a subject matter authority by answering questions on our outstanding client service delivery model. Suggests changes in Account Specialist assignments and the composition of service teams based upon business need and capacity within the Region in conjunction with the COO and RMDs. Perform as a player/mentor and build communication and leadership within region for these roles. May perform work on own book of business, if applicable. Support and accelerate Aon's Blueprint across DAU, ABS, AIM and Innovation. Skills and experience that will lead to success. 10+ years of significant experience in either Broking or Account Management functions preferred.
Property & casualty insurance experience required including a P & C license. Passionate about client service Comfortable creating, building, and delivering presentations to key collaborators, leadership experience is essential. Problem solver Organized with the ability to multi-task and work within defined timelines. Strong project management leading projects independently. Professional approach and strong written and oral communication skills Strong product and technical knowledge, proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience The target salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $170,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
