QUALIFICATIONS OF A RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE TECH (EXPERIENCED) At least 3 years of HVAC service experience EPA certified High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's
license and insurable driving record Can read and interpret wiring diagrams/blueprints, and use various troubleshooting techniques Willing to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment, NATE certification within 1st year of employment, and attend continuing education training or seminars Understand basic sheet metal practices, air balancing principles, and safety A universal EPA certification, completion of an industry-related technical school, and/or NATE certification is a plus!

Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as directed. Assist in compressor, large motor and component replacement. Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts. Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely. Clean and maintain company service vehicles, if one is assigned. Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
