found your best opportunity! Job Description A Solar Electric Service Technician is primarily responsible for diagnosing systems, troubleshooting inverters and optimizers. They must work diligently while keeping safety top of mind. You will work safely by utilizing safety harnesses, lanyards, and ropes.
These safety tools are required for all roofing work. You will complete assignments as directed by Project Coordinator and or Operations Manager. Responsibilities Stocking your van each morning with the materials required for the day's work You are also responsible for onsite job clean up as well as keeping your vehicle clean inside and out, inventorying your service vehicle and warehouse
materials Work in outdoor conditions (Heat of the summer and cooler weather in the winter) Diagnosing panel and panel connection issues via roof access Issuing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for improperly functioning materials Tracking field progress, including taking pictures and creating brief reports Qualifications Electrical or construction background Able to troubleshoot multiple Solar Electric Manufactures products Able to climb ladders and work safely on roof tops Be a strong team player with a positive learning attitude Ability to work standing and bending for long periods of time Able to repair common issues, including ground fault, inverter malfunction/failure, wire damage, blown fuses, and A/C disconnect box failure Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Vacations Paid Holidays 401K with Employer Match Job Type: Full-time Year-round work Paid training
