Description of Service Technician - Alarm and Home Automation Position: The ideal candidate will be an experienced alarm technician that is able to service our residential accounts on a part-time, contract basis.
Most of these accounts are Honeywell Lynx or Lyric systems, but we have recently began using Qolsys panels on the network. This is not a full-time position, but it is a great way to put a little extra cash in your pocket for the month. Plus, you set your own schedule! When we have a customer who needs service we will email you the service ticket. You are
then required to contact the customer yourself to schedule an appointment for service. You will be shipped any equipment you will need to use for service calls as well as a small stock to keep on hand.
Service Technician - Alarm and Home Automation Responsibilities: Service calls to customer homes for home security, alarm and automation systems Low voltage wiring Occasionally new installations for customer moves, changes etc. Accurately and update work order status through our web portal. Submit job invoicing accurately and timely as required.
