The person in this position has met the requirements of " Service Technician I" Proficiency of the responsibilities listed herein should be expected within 2 years, at which point advancement towards GSM Services Master Service Technician would be considered. Maintain the overall standards of quality, performance and courtesy set forth by GSM Services and its leadership team, providing Comfort & Peace of Mind to your customers and coworkers Wear proper uniforms and maintain personal
appearance to GSM Services standards Maintain attendance in accordance with GSM Services standards Performing service agreement calls, both commercial and residential.
This includes all aspects of checking and servicing the equipment. Operational data, filter changes or cleanings, coil cleanings, checking electrical, temperature readings, customer relations, etc. May include occasional repairs for service agreement customers such as motors, contactors, coils, boards, blades, etc. Training of technician trainees on proper methods of checking and servicing equipment, both commercial and residential. Aiding the trainees in diagnosing problems and how to prevent future problems from occurring.
Maintaining the paperwork as needed for our service agreement customers. Service inspection sheets, etc. must be complete. Maintain all tools and equipment in proper working condition. Keep company vehicle clean, both inside and out. Work in the residential and/or commercial installation departments as the need arises Use flat rate pricing to give customers pricing for repairs while on site and before performing any work Participate in training offerings from GSM, Carrier, and any other distributors & manufacturers Keep up with all parts and equipment used for the completion of each call or job If ready to do so, perform service calls as needed during extreme weather conditions or when covering for an absent technician Back-up the on-call technician as needed to prepare for eventually moving in to the rotation permanently Sell residential service agreements, accessories and extended warranties Provide leads to the sales departments for system replacements when it is in the best interest of our customers Work each day to the Sundown Rule Possess the ability to read and write English to a HS level Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must have valid NC or SC driver's license Must possess EPA Certification (Type I & II) Must possess Nate Certification (Core & 1 Specialty) Call backs to remain at or below 5% Completed calls to remain at or above 95% 8 hours continuing education Residential Service related Possess the ability to read and write to a High School Level Must have High School Diploma or GED Must pass pre-employment drug screen GSM Services is ready to hear from you and help you get started with a great career.

Roofshield Technician Responsibilities Possess the physical capabilities required for commercial roofing, including but not limited to lifting (up to 80 lbs), stooping bending, material handling, ladder climbing, awareness of height exposure and the capacity to work in adverse weather conditions Follow all directions given by the immediate leader (roofing foreman or lead-man) as it relates to job production Learn and gain skill in working to meet the standards and application quality set by GSM Services for the installation or roofing materials Learn and gain skill in the proper use and maintenance of roof equipment What you Need to be Qualified for the Roofshield Technician Position
