We are seeking an experienced AI Infrastructure Performance Engineer to join our growing AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and evaluation of high-performance infrastructure solutions for our AI workloads. This role is crucial in ensuring that our AI models run efficiently on diverse hardware, allowing us to deliver state-of-the-art AI capabilities

to our customers. What youll be doing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Benchmarking, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of AI/ML models across a variety of infrastructure setups, including cloud, on-premises, and edge deployments.

Collaborating with AI researchers and engineers to design hardware and software configurations that ensure optimal performance for specific AI workloads. Implementing performance enhancements across software and hardware stack, from AI frameworks and libraries to the infrastructure layer. Designing and implementing tools to automate performance testing and generate insights about system bottlenecks. Working closely with

hardware vendors, software partners, and internal teams to identify and drive performance optimizations.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI hardware, compilers, and performance optimization techniques to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge. Documenting best practices, performance benchmarks, and optimization strategies for internal and external stakeholders. What were looking for. Youll need to have: Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Experience in performance engineering, specifically in the AI/ML domain. Deep knowledge of AI frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Py Torch, GPU, and or equivalent.

Even better if you have one or more of the following: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Masters or Ph D is a plus. Familiarity with hardware architectures like CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs, and associated software stacks. Proficient in programming languages like Python, C++, and CUDA. Strong analytical skills and experience with performance profiling tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $211,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
