The engineer works closely with the RF ground based communications research and development team to develop and demonstrate RF signal processing and array processing algorithms. The engineer develops advanced RF pulse compression, tracking filters, and signal identification and characterization algorithms for broadband RF arrays.

The engineer also develops advanced algorithms for beam forming, correlation interferometry, pulse compression, and precision direction finding for broadband RF arrays. The engineer develops and implements RF wideband signal processing, array processing, and direction finding algorithms. The engineer tests and validates algorithms with RF communications data,

supports flight test and RF communications antenna design trades, and develops and implements RF wideband signal identification, tracking, and characterization algorithms.

The engineer participates in cutting edge research in location and context aware, machine learning, and represents the team in cross-organizational development forums, customer requirements gathering, and software validation and training sessions. Desired experience includes expertise in wireless system design and protocols, real-time embedded programming at the hardware layer interface, Verilog and experience in RTL design of FPGA or ASIC, and experience with Multi-User MIMO or beamforming. Experience with SCN, TT&C,

waveforms and modulation schemes or similar experience is desired.

Essential Functions: Research and translate technical information into training materials, manuals or web-based documents for technical and non-technical audiences Develop, organize and deliver technical training programs and related materials and/or interactive courseware for customer and audiences Plan, design, implement and maintain computer-based or web-based training modules Work with customers and functional organizations to establish course objectives, contents and outcomes. Prepare lesson plans from engineering documentation, software documentation, vendor manuals or field service requirements.

Instruct participants in classroom lectures and laboratory sessions; provide surveys and analyze responses to determine applicability of course material and adequacy of training presentation Ensure course materials reflect current software ops release features Be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed Lead work planning using SAFe Travel to support team based out of Salt Lake, UT Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Experience in real-time embedded programming at the hardware layer interface. Experience in RTL design of FPGA or ASIC and Verilog. Experience with Multi-User MIMO, Beamforming, or radar detection. Active TS/SCI Security Clearance. Preferred Additional Skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Science, Math, Computer Engineering, Technology. Scientific programming and algorithm development. Expertise in wireless system design and protocols. Radar system fundamentals and waveform processing.

Python, C++. Background in general networking. Detection and estimation theory. Digital/analog filtering theory and application. MS Office applications. Networking fundamentals. RF Estimation and classification. In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $104,500.00 - $193,500.00 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
