Location: Menlo Park, CA
Lead diligence on a multitude of investment opportunities across life sciences and neuroscience. Develop and provide detailed analyses of the companys target market, people, science, products, technologies, go-to-market plan, competitive dynamics, regulatory plan, and anything else relevant to making an investment decision.
Collaborate with others on the Deal Team, including across verticals, and outside domain experts, to get to the best possible answer on any diligence project. Continuously grow and nurture the firms network of subject matter experts and develop the ability to quickly determine the best resource(s) to contact for a given diligence area. Leverage existing domain expertise
and network breadth in neuroscience to source new investment opportunities and increase the firms exposure to leading neuroscience researchers, scientists, and entrepreneurs, as well as clinical neurologists.
Contribute to Deal Team operations, such as inbound deal funnel management, notes during pitch meetings, tracking of data for benchmarking, and institutionalization of knowledge and data for Deal Team-wide use. Conduct research and contribute content authored by the Bio+Health Fund team. Participate in relevant ecosystem events and networks to form long-term relationships with network stakeholders, collect data, and bring founder flow and market insights to the team. The position
requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in the life sciences.
The position also requires three (3) years of professional/academic experience in the life sciences. Professional and/or academic experience must include: Developing and providing detailed analyses of a companys target market, people, science, products, technologies, go-to-market plan, competitive dynamics, regulatory plan, and anything else relevant to making investment decisions; Performing diligence research on complex topics, including both primary and secondary research; and Driving analytical sourcing, due diligence, market mapping. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
