JOB FUNCTIONS Essential Works with I. T. Support Staff that provid e Tier 1 and 2 support. This role will address incoming issues above and beyond Tier 2 and actively works with I. T. Support Staff to address the issue. This role t akes ownership of tickets by o ffering remote and in-person for incoming inquiries and concerns regarding computer systems, end-user systems, software, hardware,
smartphones , telephony, printers, scanners, plotters, conference room technologies , and tablets that is outside of the scope of Tier 1/2. P articipate in hardware deployments and replacements, encompassing workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
Knowledge with Office 365 Support and Administration , Exchange, Share Point (SPO), etc. Experience with Entra /Azure Active Directory , Active Directory , Azure AD Connect, SSO, SAML, and LDAP Come with a Documentation -First approach Able to take initiative - Bring it to others' attention if you see something that could turn into a problem or a better way to fix something. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and network design specifications.
C ollaborate with external vendors including our Private Cloud platform provider. Backend Develop, implement , and maintain policies, procedures , documentation, and training for server and storage infrastructure design, security, and administration. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and other relevant industry best practices. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures , and training plans as they pertain to infrastructure (e. g. network, server, firewall , workstation , storage, and database) operations.

Understand emerging and current technology and identify solutions to meet business needs. Disaster Recovery and Planning. Perform regular backup operations on assigned systems and implement appropriate policies and procedures regarding data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures. O perational knowledge of Windows Server. Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure server and storage infrastructure capacity and capabilities meet existing and future requirements.
Monitor server activity and usage statistics to identify possible performance issues or needed enhancements. NETWORK O perational knowledge of network and routing protocols. Manage network and provide network solutions considering factors such as availability, performance, scalability, and redundancy. Implement and enforce network security measures, such as access controls, firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption. T roubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including network outages, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
M onitor network traffic and analyze network data to identify patterns and anomalies focusing on the performance, availability, and security of the network. C reate and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Rarely modifies existing or installs new network cabling or other networking equipment. C onfigure s and maintain s network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, and UPS. C onduct network backssments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Plan, recommend and implement new networking systems, updates, and upgrades in line with projects and priorities. TRAINING P rovide training and guidance to end-users on network usage, security protocols, and best practices. P articipate in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of KAI's infrastructure. Provide guidance and mentorship to other IT personnel including best practices and emerging technologies.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to OT networking and cybersecurity, and network architecture. Future Conduct regular vulnerability backssments and penetration tests to identify and address potential security risks. Conduct proof-of-concept and pilot projects to evaluate new network technologies and backss their feasibility and suitability for implementation. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and cybersecurity requirements in the design and implementation of our infrastructure.
BENEIFICIAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS Network troubleshooting/Administration Design and refine desktop configurations. Device Patch Management (Laptops/Mobile Devices and Apple Device s ) Conference Room Administration (Teams Rooms/Crestron Systems /Barco Click Share ) Cyber Security Administration (MFA/Antivirus) Phone System/Carrier Administration /Telephony (AT&T) Familiar using AWS and Azure environments Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA, ITIL, Comp TIA Network+ certification or equivalent experience , and Microsoft and Azure Cloud certs are preferred but not required.
Experience with Intune and Windows Autopilot Experience with DNS and DKIM Experience in Powershell and Microsoft Graph API. Experience with Sonic WALL is a bonus Work Designation: On-Site Work Location: This position will be hybrid on-site in our Irving , TX or St. Louis, MO office. A minimum of Tuesday - Thursday on-site is required with work from home per company policy. The right candidate may have the opportunity to work remotely from home. Required Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent in Information Technology, technical related discipline, technical school, equivalent experience 4 years' experience in Information Technology Support / Helpdesk or previous experience as a Junior Admin or System Admin Exceptional written and oral communication skills with exceptional focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
