As a Systems or Model-Based Engineer you will: Provide direction and oversight for assigned engineering project teams, in addition to performing many of the day-to-day systems engineering tasks.
Develop system design solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program risks and obtain solutions to include allocation of resources. Provide technical support to software/hardware development, integration and test team members. Review systems
engineering documentation to ensure the design meets system needs and is accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete. Support the development of system test and/or integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing.
This is a full-time career opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Candidates selected must hold an active Secret clearance to be considered for this position. Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in satellite development, operations, maintenance or sustainment Proven experience
in performing system engineering, analytical, and problem-solving activities using structured problem-solving techniques.
Proven experience in all phases of Requirements (hardware and software) management. Proven experience conducting briefings and participating in technical meetings with internal and external users. Preferred Qualifications: Masters or Ph D in engineering or related discipline. Proven experience with agile development concepts utilizing JIRA. Able to decompose large technical projects into related epics, stories, and tasks. Certified CSEP or ESEP Cybersecurity experience, including cyber certifications such as Security+ or CISSPPay Range: $80-150K year.
