It is crucial to understand what our assets are, the associated risks, and corresponding mitigation and continuous improvement plans in place for those assets.
ITAM is the authoritative organization to establish and govern the standards, policies, and procedures for IT to effectively manage their asset records. Position Summary The ITAM Product Specialist demonstrates knowledge of asset management principles, values, concepts, and methods. Create and apply analytical methods to demonstrate the effectiveness of asset management fundamentals. Work within an Agile framework to advance product functionality, be involved in documenting requirements, provide acceptance criteria, and sign-off on production releases. Work with the development team and the product owners to advance the overall effectiveness and usefulness of the asset management systems.
The position will also be involved in understanding the interdependency of the various asset management systems, creating system documentation, and understanding data flows. Work with asset owners and other end users to provide training. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.
This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $109,000.00 Bay Area Maximum: $175,000.00 OR California Minimum: $104,000.00 California Maximum: $166,000.00 Job Responsibilities Responsible for support and promotion of ITAM products that provide a federated view of asset information and asset portfolio management. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and leadership to understand the current and future business needs of the organization and how our asset management products can align with those needs. Oversee and manage ITAM intake to help distribute work to the appropriate ITAM team or individual.
Develop an in-depth understanding of asset information contained within systems of record and how these systems work together. Develop and maintain ITAM documentation. Provide support and training to users, gather their feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Participate in our agile development process.
