the individual on this position provides 100% clinical services for the PAT by planning and coordinating peri-operative patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic intervention for a variety of surgical specialties with the intent of returning said patients to a homeostatic level. Applying and interpreting hospital policies and nursing practice guidelines
in the care of the peri-op patients. Participating in the monitoring of inventory control of supplies. Ensuring the order functionality and availability of PAT supplies and equipment.
Maintaining an effective line of communication with the OR scheduling department surgeons ancillary staff and management. Participating and collaborating with the Director of PAT in meeting the budgetary objectives. Providing direct patient care activities such as but not limited to pre-operative patient preparation and backssment and patient education. (Pre Op Preparation) Qualifications Minimum Requirements: 2 years acute care hospital experience Prior experience in a PACU SDS or OR staff position preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish required ACLA and BLS certifications Current California license as a Registered Nurse This position is represented by CNA.
