years minimum experience in telecommunications infrastructure Technical understanding of telecom networks, data networks, and other major applications that use Southern Company's transport network Experience with GIS, cartography, CAD and Visio applications Knowledge of BMC Smart IT/Helix is highly desired Knowledge of infrastructure components Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and facilities Knowledge of the IOC and IPTA teams Knowledge of infrastructure change management Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities and meet scheduled deadlines Ability to negotiate with and influence others Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere Proven track
record in telecommunications support, process, and automation ideation Strong analytical skills Professional oral and written communication skills Ability to analyze information from multiple sources Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management, and other internal and external groups Ability to effectively create presentations and lead meetings Ability to effectively utilize Office 365 Ability to effectively utilize software-based tools such as SOLID, APART, TBMS, Visio and MS BI.
