Position Summary: Summit 7 is seeking a talented NOC Analyst to join our dynamic, multi functional team to play a crucial
role in safeguarding client digital landscapes. The ideal hire would be proficient in Microsoft Azure to be able to collaborate with department teams to optimize Azure services.
Remote Monitoring and management (RMM) is a crucial skill to proactively troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain systems. Last but not least, CMMC knowledge is a highly important skill to institute and implement effective remediation strategies, staying one step ahead of security threats. Essential Functions: Responsible for handling, triaging, and working NOC tickets according to processes and procedures Monitor and Manage client's servers, endpoints, and devices Alert stakeholders for outages and service degradation
Ensure client servers, endpoints, and devices maintain newest released patches Manage client backups for health; support remediation if issues arise Create documentation for client environments including network diagrams Document and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the NOC Team Remediate vulnerabilities as identified; familiarity with CVEs and CVSS Responsible for handling all proactive communications with clients and setting expectations during service outages Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Customer onboarding to management systems Software management and deployment Hardware management deployment Other duties as assigned Requirements Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS from a reputable institute OR two (2) years of IT or related experience.
Security+ CE Certification or IAT Level 2 equivalent Administrative skills in several operating systems, such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android, and i Phone OS Proficient in Mobile Device Management (MDM) Basic networking, supporting, and monitoring of Firewalls, Switches, WAPS, endpoints, servers, etc. Administrative experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Tools Administrative understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure Experience managing antivirus at an administrative level Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and technical personnel in high stress situations.
Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development Ability to identify and evaluate trends in industry best practices and policies S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check Optional / Desired Basic Microsoft, Comp TIA, and/or Cisco certifications etc. MD-102, Server+, Network+ Experience supporting VDI environments. Experience supporting Linux Experience Managing SQL Experience with Microsoft Power tools Experience with vulnerability management Scripting, Power Shell, CLI, etc.
