Network Security: Develop and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard company data and systems against unauthorized access and breaches. network issues, optimize network performance, and ensure minimal downtime. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) for network-related services.
Budgeting and Planning: Develop and manage the IT network budget, forecasting future needs and proposing cost-effective solutions to enhance network capabilities. Policy Development: Establish and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams, departments, and stakeholders to understand
their network requirements, address concerns, and provide technical expertise and support.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e. g. CCNP, CCIE, Comp TIA Network+) are a plus. Proven experience (7-9 years) in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure and leading network teams in a corporate environment. Deep understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and security principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, etc. ). Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Nagios, Solar Winds, etc. ). Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends to continuously improve network performance and security. Experience in developing and implementing network policies, procedures, and best practices.
