Hybrid from your So Cal home office/our Mission Viejo Office The Desktop Support Analyst II will be responsible providing support by answering and resolving technical support calls and tickets from employees in our corporate headquarters, the remote sales team, and multiple remote sites in the US as well as backup to international sites for 2000 – 2500 users. This position will resolve basic technical issues both
software and hardware related. What You’ll Do: Resolving basic technical issues by: (90%) Answer and resolve incoming technical support issues through email or technical support help line Contribute to a cumulative 95% answer rate Record all calls or tickets and provided solutions in Service-Now (web-based customer support system) Provide level I and II support and solutions to issues including account maintenance for active directory, hardware replacement and troubleshooting, software installation and support, and new computer build and deployment Help resolve escalations from level I Desktop Suport Team Be part of an on-call rotation to take after hours emergency calls Support the department
by meeting its objectives by: (10%) Enter part orders accurately, follow up on orders, and manage vendors through process Request, log, and update vendor quotes Participate in projects to improve accuracy, effectiveness or efficiency of systems or processes Keep all documentation of processes up to date in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred or post-high school education or combination of equivalent work experience 2+ year of experience with networking and troubleshooting, Windows server and Active Directory, and Windows operating system required 2 or more years of experience in helpdesk or technical support environment, working with Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating system, Microsoft Office and similar software applications, and supporting Macs in a Windows domain environment preferred Basic knowledge of i Phone technologies required Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the group Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve customer inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly and effectively Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals Ability to manage calls (within ACD phone system preferred) Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion What You’ll Receive: At James Hardie, we recognize that our success depends on our people.

The expected pay range for this position is between $30 and $33/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, market conditions, and other job-related factors permitted by law. goal. The candidate will work in a small team, at our corporate office in Anaheim, and support 300+ users (both onsite and remotely for branch offices) throughout the United States. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2+ years IT support experience in Helpdesk/Technical support environment Proficient in PC hardware including setups, repairs, upgrades, re-imaging, reinstallation of Windows PC's (Dell/HP PC experience preferred) Installation, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing of Windows OS Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, enable, disable, unlock accounts, reset passwords, join PC's to domain.
Scanning/cleanup of viruses, spyware and malware. Basic networking experience
with DHCP, DNS, and using tools like " ping" to troubleshoot basic connectivity problems. Ability to support end-user software applications (off-the-shelf and proprietary) Ability to troubleshoot basic network printer issues.

skills and abilities. Experience with creating and deploying PC images (Acronis, Ghost, etc) Experience with remote support software (Screen Connect, RDP, VNC) Experience with Helpdesk ticket tracking systems (Spiceworks, etc).
Ability to lift/move 50 pounds such as computers, printers, fax machines Ability to follow-through and create/maintain how-to documentation and for common issues/resolutions. Ability to troubleshoot client-side MS email/exchange problems. Ability to research issues, access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
