Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or communications and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience. Experience with requirements of AR 25-50 Experienced conducting research, analysis, and interviews to review and edit a variety of materials such as reports; articles for publication in professional magazines, journals, and other media outlets; newsletters; news releases; notes and other correspondence associated with a broad spectrum of program areas.
Experience identifying issues of contemporary and future impact on Project Office and its equities. Experience conducting analysis, including implications and alternatives, and writing analyses and recommendations in clear, concise
written products consistent with the Army writing style. Experience synchronizing information provided by higher headquarters and other sources external to the command to enable the Project Manager to quickly discern key facts and linkages among myriad issues that impact the command.
Prior experience working with Army Aviation Project Offices. Must be a US Citizen with an active Do D security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Job Duties: Prepare written products for Project Manager's use and for Project Office reports and briefings. Conduct coordination and integration across Project Office directorates to include reports to higher headquarters. Provide subject matter expertise
on the development of strategic narratives that frame and focus understanding of the Project Office mission and lines of effort/operation, from which communication themes and messages are derived.
Review all written materials for the organization for editorial quality and consistency, and compliance with the Army writing style, format, and content to ensure that products adhere to all government style and format requirements. Ensure that written materials are commensurate with the level and authority of the target audience.
