We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$144,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Experience programming in some subset of Python, C , Java, or Perl. Experience with TCP/IP fundamentals and routing protocols (e. g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS). Preferred qualifications: Experience with Open Flow-based software defined network systems. Experience with large-scale system design.
Ability to design and facilitate the implementation of large-scale networking data-center and/or co-location facilities. - Analyze the short and long-term growth needs, plan for the future, and demand and ensure system scales to needed growth envelope. - Engage in inception, design, qualification and validation of new technologies, and ensure new technologies fit the need and demand of the users, are deployable at scale, and are safely operable. - Scale network systems sustainably through automation, and evolve them by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. - Analyze inefficiencies and complexity, and drive improvements in process as well as automation and system design.
