User-Centric Documentation: Ensure that all documentation is user-centric, easy to understand, and well-organized, meeting the needs of both novice and experienced developers. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in technical writing and documentation to continuously improve our documentation standards. Deliverables: User Guide: Develop a comprehensive user guide, covering an overview of the platform, installation instructions, and how-to guides for common tasks.
API Reference: Create an extensive API reference, including detailed descriptions of each API function, example code snippets, and usage guidelines. Troubleshooting Guide: Produce a troubleshooting guide for common issues and their solutions, providing developers with the support they need to overcome challenges. Regular Updates: Continuously update the existing documentation
to reflect new features, changes, and improvements as they are released.
User Feedback: Solicit and gather feedback from users to backss the quality and usefulness of the documentation, incorporating feedback to enhance the documentation quality further. Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e. g. Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related discipline). Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the software or technology industry. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in using documentation tools and software. Familiarity with VR technology and software development is a plus. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
Experience with Unreal Engine and Unity game engines is a plus The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $62/hr - $72/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
