his is a twenty-seven bed inpatient medical/surgical unit with a pulmonary specialty and care of urology patients. Primary Nursing is the patient care philosophy in collaboration with patients, families, and all professional disciplines. Nursing staff are experts in respiratory backssment and management of patients
experiencing thoracic surgery. Care is provided for patients ranging in age from young adult through older adult. The patient population includes those with: COPD, TB, thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, and Asthma.
Responsibilities: The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services -Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. - Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care We deliver inspired people to do meaningful work. Current WA State RN license is required. 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients preferred CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
