Unit Employment Type: PRN / 84 hours required in a 6-week schedule Shift: Day Shift Location: Germantown, MD Description: Reporting to the Director of Acute Care the Clinical Nurse demonstrates applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of med/surg/tele or med/stroke patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.

Must have availability to work 60 hours in a 6-week schedule. Must have availability to work 84 hours in a 6-week schedule. Responsibilities: Plans and manages care of routine patients Educates patients and family Planning continuum of care Providing safe care and ensuring an excellent patient experience Floating to ED or ICU to

care for medical surgical boarding patients What you will need Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.

Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required for float pool nurses.
