The DOSR operates out of all the UTMB hospital campus locations in the region. The Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly motivated, General Orthopedic Surgeon to help meet the demands for Orthopedic care at our mainland facilities. This position will join our group of established Orthopedic providers as we expand our mainland coverage in the clinic and emergency room
settings. All faculty physicians will have an opportunity to participate in the resident and fellowship educational training programs depending upon their practice and personal interests.
Leadership opportunities are available within the Department and the Institution. Position Requirements: M. D. or D. O. from an accredited medical school. Residency training in Orthopedic Surgery. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Ability to obtain a valid unrestricted Texas state medical license. General Orthopedics Surgery capability (Orthopedic subspecialty interests and/or additional training welcomed). Income Package: Salary is commensurate with Academic rank, experience, and qualifications.
