expert on our EMR system and will be responsible for interacting and training all new hires and clinical staff. This IT role is responsible for assisting the IT Manager in the development and maintenance of all Hospice of the North Coast (HNC) information systems hardware and software.
This includes assisting with all Hospice applications and infrastructure, identifying system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance while working within the operating requirements of Hospice of the North Coast. You will be responsible for all new hire provisioning and training on the Bright Tree/Matrix Care system. You will be IT support for 3 locations and expected to travel from
the main office to our Pacifica House 2 miles down the street. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Preferred education in an IT field Credentials: Preferred degree in IT related field Experience: Previous experience with an EMR is required Previous experience in hospice/home health/health care IT operations preferred Must have excellent customer service skills and be willing to train Core Competencies: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, system, hospice operations and the flow of electronic protected health information.
Understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to safeguarding electronic protected health information. Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively
with hospice employees and business associates. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desire to keep technical skills current and to learn and support new equipment, systems, and applications. Strives for excellence. Strong customer service and professionalism. Other: Valid Driver's License and auto insurance. Willing to be on-call one week of the month and when the IT Manager is on PTO.
