If this sounds like the right IT opportunity for you, apply today! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing strong technical support and problem solving to co-workers of varied computer sophistication.
You will troubleshoot hardware and software problems by asking clarifying questions, diagnosing, and repairing the issue or escalating it. You will be the primary owner of the IT ticketing systems to track all status and communication toward resolution.
You will configure desktop hardware and software for new and existing users and verify security updates. This is an opportunity to learn our business specific systems. Maintaining an accurate inventory of mobile, computer hardware and peripherals will also be a key responsibility. You will be a champion for process improvement and increasing technology self-sufficiency at Minneapolis Glass! QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or GED required.
Additional technology schooling or related certifications strongly preferred.
2+ years relevant experience in a company or for an IT service troubleshooting the desktop / organizational computer systems. Demonstrated knowledge of organizational computer systems, peripherals (printers, cameras, mouse, speakers) and Android and i OS devices Tangible experience with Windows 10/11 Desktop, Azure and Microsoft Office 365.
