datasets, data products and documentation supporting Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD). The position is responsible for developing and maintaining M&S Systems Capability Requirements and in intended uses in a Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirement System (DOORS) environment, including development, linking of requirements, and tracing to the GMD Digital Engineering Plan.
The position is responsible for building and maintaining DOORS specific tools for the GMD M&S team, including generation of specifications/documents from DOORS modules using DXL or the Rational Publishing Engine (RPE). Additional responsibilities include; support to M&S program office for Industry partner M&S action/resolution
planning, development and maintenance of M&S strategic plans and products, development and maintenance of the GMD M&S Program Plan. The position directly supports GMD M&S Work Groups and Change Boards, maintenance/development of M&S schedules including inputs to the GMD Integrated Master Schedule, and tracking of cyber security relevant configuration changes.
The position will support implementation of M&S data in relevant digital engineering tools including GMD digital tool suite to provide dashboards, outputs and summary of M&S information. Candidate must be able to communicate requirement management and data management tools and uses in summary presentations satisfactory for senior
level leadership. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
MS preferred. Experience with Requirements development and management Fluency in the use of DOORs Requirements Management tool, RPE, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Build and export trace reports into Excel and Word Exporting/importing objects to/from Word and Excel Ability to effectively participate and collaborate with functionally and geographically diverse teams of engineering professionals with differing perspectives, skills and backgrounds Ability to communicate relevant, well organized, complex ideas to audiences at all levels; oral and written Motivated, energetic self-starter with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic and proactive in all manners related to the job Coordinating and implementing the needs of internal and external customers while addressing all concerns.
